How Company Director Identity Verification Works
Online
You populate an online form giving us the details we need to make the filing. You make payment and are sent a secure Tech ID link which enables you to use your smart phone to take a photo of your ID document. This feeds back to our secure portal and we make the filing to Companies House.
In Person
You can come to our office, conveniently located in Wigmore Street in London’s West End, present photographic ID and proof of address and populate an online form. We will make the filing at Companies House.
If you have a board meeting organised or prefer us to come to you, we can also arrange this.
Expedited Service
If you are an existing client who has undertaken KYC with us, we will take a few further details from you and make the filing based on the fact that we have already verified your identity.
Verify Elite
This service caters for UHNW individuals and high level company executives whose demanding schedule means that they need additional help with verifying their identity.

FAQs
How long does verification take?
This depends on what service you choose. Our online service takes you about 5 minutes to complete. Once we have the required information we will make the filing at Companies House within 24 hours.
For our in person service, the appointment will take 10-15 minutes, it will then take us time to collate the data and make the filing within 24 hours of the appointment.
I’m a solicitor/accountant/agent — can I refer my clients to you for ECCTA identity checks?
Yes. We work with law firms, accountants, company formation agents, and other professionals who want a trusted partner to handle client ECCTA compliance.
We’ll handle the ID checks and filing, while keeping you in the loop.

Can we handle overseas Directors?

What if someone doesn’t want to do the ID check electronically?
No problem. For individuals who prefer not to use smartphones or online forms we offer in-person verification at our Central London office. We can also attend your office.
Will Companies House notify me after verification is complete?
Yes. Once we complete the verification and submit it to Companies House, they will issue a Personal Code directly to the individual via email.
This code is required for future filings, such as appointing new directors or filing annual statements.
